Have you heard of this term?
Navigating being a manager and leader through this crisis we currently find ourselves in can be seen as a daunting task. So much has changed, and we have not reached any state of new normal yet. This is a one-year minimum journey. Yes, ONE YEAR, 12 MONTHS, minimum. So, fasten your safety belt and let’s start the journey to getting UNSTUCK together.
I would like to ask you 4 questions that, if you allow the process to happen, will enable your leadership to get UNSTUCK. It’s just a start but I promise you start here and you will already see results.
- What is your DELIBERATE plan to change through this pandemic? Write it down and start the process of working the plan
- Tough times don’t last, tough TEAMS do. How TOUGH is your team? Write down what you believe makes your team tough and how you support them to remain tough.
- How are you invigorating your organization? What opportunities have you identified at this time and how can you communicate them?
- What are your intentional outcomes? What exactly do you want the outcome to be and how will you get there?
The journey of transformation has just begun, so make the decision to transform like the world is transforming. Don’t forget what got you to where you are now will not get you to the next point in your career or personal life. Adapt, manage, survive and emerge, all interesting phases of the situation we all find ourselves in now.
